Traffic congestion likely in the following places today

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: There will be traffic congestion in Kathmandu Valley today. Traffic congestion has increased since Monday due to the visit of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Li Zhansu to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: There will be traffic congestion in Kathmandu Valley today. Traffic congestion has increased since Monday due to the visit of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Li Zhansu to Nepal.


According to traffic police, vehicular traffic will be affected in the areas around Ravibhavan Solti Hotel, Kalimati, Teku, Bhotebhal, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Kupondole, Maitighar, New Baneshwor to Tinkune around 9AM.

Similarly, around 11:30 AM, the traffic to Tinkune, Naya Baneshwor, Babarmahal, Singhadarbar, Maitighar, Thapathali, Tripureshwor, Bhotebahal, Teku, Kalimati, Solti Hotel, Ravibhavan will be affected.


Likewise, traffic will be affected in the areas around Ravi Bhavan, Solti Hotel, Kalimati, Teku, Bhotebahal, Kupondole, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Maitighar, Babarmahal, Singhadarbar, Bhadrakali, Padmodaya mode at 3:30 in the afternoon.


Around 4.30 pm, traffic will be affected in areas around Padmodaya mod, Bhadrakali, Singhadarbar, Maitighar, Babarmahal, Thapathali, Tripureshwor, Kupondole, Bhotebahal, Teku, Kalimati, Ravibhavan and Solti Hotel.


Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police has requested to make their journey easier by using an alternative route during this time.
