LAMJUNG, June 23: An earthquake occurred at Bhalayakharka of Rainas Municipality in Lamjung district at 5:55 this morning, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.

The quake measuring 4 in the Richter scale rattled parts of Lamjung, Tanahun and Gorkha districts. The eastern and western hilly regions in the country have recorded earthquakes more frequently.
