BAJURA, April 28: Tremors of three separate earthquakes were felt in Bajura district since last night.
According to National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre (NEMR), Lainchaur, three separate quakes took place with their epicenter in Dahakot of Bajura district.
According to the NEMR, the first quake with 4.9 Richter scale in magnitude occurred at 11:58 pm while the second with 5.9 in the Richter scale jolted the district at 1:30 in the night.
Quake tremors felt again in Bajhang
Likewise, the tremors of the third quake with 3.9 in the Richter scale were felt at 1:51 in the night.
The details of the damages caused due to the quakes have not been received yet.
Earlier on April 17, the district had experienced an earthquake with its epicenter at Jugada area of the district.
The western belt of the country has witnessed an increased frequency of earthquakes in recent days.
