Tribhuvan University cricket ground to be built as an international level cricket ground

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has announced plans to develop the Tribhuvan University cricket ground as an international-standard cricket ground.

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has announced plans to develop the Tribhuvan University cricket ground as an international-standard cricket ground.


Announcing the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the Tribhuvan University cricket ground will be developed as an international-level cricket stadium and the government has also allocated a budget to build four more stadiums.

As per the budget announcement, the government will build Girija Prasad Koirala Cricket Stadium in Biratnagar, Dasharath Chand Cricket Stadium in Baitadi, Fapla Cricket Stadium in Kailali and Subarna Shumsher Cricket Stadium in Kathmandu.
