TU grants one-time extension for students to complete pending academic requirements

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The Standing Committee of the Tribhuvan University (TU) Academic Council has announced a one-time opportunity for students admitted after 2058 BS, who have yet to complete their thesis, term paper, project report, internship, practical examination, and teaching practice. This decision was made during the Academic Council Standing Committee meeting held on January 10.

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The Standing Committee of the Tribhuvan University (TU) Academic Council has announced a one-time opportunity for students admitted after 2058 BS, who have yet to complete their thesis, term paper, project report, internship, practical examination, and teaching practice. This decision was made during the Academic Council Standing Committee meeting held on January 10.


The committee has agreed to offer this chance to students who enrolled in the annual examination system in 2058 BS or later and have passed their theoretical examinations but have not completed the aforementioned academic requirements.

The opportunity extends to students who enrolled in 2058 BS under the annual system and surpassed their completion deadline, as well as those under the semester system who exceeded their deadline in 2068 BS. These students now have until Asar 2081 BS to complete their pending work and submit it to their respective campus or department.


Similarly, the committee has decided to grant this one-time opportunity to MPhil candidates who were admitted in the year 2068 BS and have also passed their completion deadline.
