Tushal thrashes Jhamsikhel 5-0

KATHMANDU, March 6: Tushal Youth Club thrashed Jhamsikhel Youth Club 5-0 in the Martyr’s Memorial B-Division League on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Tushal Youth Club thrashed Jhamsikhel Youth Club 5-0 in the Martyr’s Memorial B-Division League on Thursday.


In a match played at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA)’s sports complex in Satdobato, Tushal made an emphatic comeback in the second half of the match after the first half between the two teams ended in a goalless stalemate.

Mohit Gurung and Alan Rai scored a brace each whereas Bhupendra Shahi scored a goal to give Tushal a triumphant win against Jhamsikhel. 


Gurung opened the goal scoring spree in the 47th minute before Shahi doubled the lead in the 75th minute. 


Gurung completed its brace in the 85th minute of the match whereas Rai scored in the 79th and injury time complete a 5-0 mauling.


Tushal has collected six points after registering its second win in three matches. Jhamsikhel has sunk to bottom of the table with two defeats and a draw in three matches of the B-Division league so far.
