CHITWAN, June 21: Two people have been arrested by the Chitwan police on the charge of their involvement in producing fake academic and character certificates of school and colleges.
The arrested are Bed Prasad Parajuli, 19, and Sudip Paudel, 33, of Bharatpur metropolis-6. They were apprehended from the Bindu Photo and Video Shop based in Buddhachowk of Bharatpur metropolis-7, District Police Office’s Superintendent of Police, Dan Bahadur Malla.

Police confiscated the counterfeit academic and character certificates bearing names of various schools and colleges. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the photo studio and arrested the two and confiscated a set of a computer used to produce fake documents and three printers. The two will be tried under the Criminal Code- 2074 BS.
Further investigations are going on.
