Two dead as tractor veers off the road in Rolpa

ROLPA, Aug 2: The driver and his assistant were killed on the spot after a tractor veered off the road at Madi rural municipality-1 of Rolpa. According to locals, the tractor fell around 500 meters off the road.

ROLPA, Aug 2: The driver and his assistant were killed on the spot after a tractor veered off the road at Madi rural municipality-1 of Rolpa. According to locals, the tractor fell around 500 meters off the road.  


The tractor, Ra 1 Ta 1507 was en route to Gharti Gaun when it fell off the road at around 8:30 PM yesterday. Those decased have been identified as Asharam Chaudhary, 27 and Dambar Bahadur Wali, 18. Asharam was a resident of Tulsipur sub metropolitan-7, Dang while Dambar of Gangadev rural municipality-1, Rolpa.

The police went to resuce the deceased after locals informed them about the incident. The dead bodies were brought to Gharti Gaun yesterday itself, according to DSP Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal, chief of District Police Office, Rolpa.


The police are investigating into the cause of death.
