Two from Sunsari die of COVID-19 at BPKIHS

DHARAN, Oct 9: Two COVID-19 patients from Sunsari breathed their last at BP Koirala Institute of Health Science (BPKIHS) on Friday.

DHARAN, Oct 9: Two COVID-19 patients from Sunsari breathed their last at BP Koirala Institute of Health Science (BPKIHS) on Friday.


According to BPKIHS, two males from Itahari-6 and Duhabi aged 68 and 52, respectively, died of COVID-19 Friday morning. “The 68-year old was admitted to the hospital on Thursday after his test came out positive on Tuesday,” Dr Ashish Shrestha, joint spokesperson at the hospital, said. He died at 12:30 am.

Similarly, Dr Shrestha also confirmed the death of COVID-19 infected person from Duhabi at 2 am. He was admitted to the hospital on September 28 as he tested positive for COVID-19. 


The management of the dead bodies is being carried out as per the established guidelines.
