Two held for anti-poll activities

GAUSHALA, Sept 15: Police in Mohottari today arrested two cadres of CPN Maoist (Biplab) for indulging in the anti-election related activities.

Babulal Lama of Hattilet was detained from the Bardibas area while Basishta Mishra of Matihani was held from his locality for their involvement in anti-poll activities, the District Police Office, Mahottari said. 


Superintendent of Police Kuber Kathayat said the two are to be tried under a public offence act. 

Security arrangement in the district has been beefed up in view of the third round local poll taking place in eight districts of the Province No. 2 including Mahottari on coming September 18. RSS
