Two households destroyed by fire in Rautahat and Sarlahi

RAUTAHAT, June 11: As temperatures are rising across the country, incidents of fire have been frequently reported in Rautahat and Sarlahi districts. A fire broke out in two houses, one each in Rautahat and Sarlahi on Sunday.

RAUTAHAT, June 11: As temperatures are rising across the country, incidents of fire have been frequently reported in Rautahat and Sarlahi districts. A fire broke out in two houses, one each in Rautahat and Sarlahi on Sunday.


According to the local police, a fire broke out at Raji Baitha's house in Gaur Municipality-4 Rautahat on Sunday. The  fire was brought under control with the help of Gaur Municipality's fire engine.

It is said that the fire broke out in Baitha's house due to the dry weather. The shed of Baitha's house has been completely damaged by the fire.


Mayor Shambhu Shah mentioned that the fire was brought under control with the help of local residents, Nepal Police and firefighters.


Similarly, a fire broke out in the house of Arun Mahato due to an electrical short circuit in Hariban Municipality-6, Sarlahi. All the materials of Mahato's house were destroyed in the fire. Various organizations have started providing basic minimum support to Mahato and his family.
