BARA, Feb 16: Police have arrested two Indian nationals along with almost 35 kilograms of hashish from Bara district.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Suresh Prasad Kafle at District Police Office, Bara, said that Safir Ali, 42 and Mohammad Abjal, 44, of Bareth district in Uttar Pradesh, India, were held as they were on their way to Birgunj from Hetauda. A team of police personnel deployed from Amlekhgunj Area Police Office also detained a vehicle with Indian number plate used by the two arrestees.


Kafle stated that they have been kept in police custody for further investigations after receiving permission from the Bara District Court.
