Two persons killed in an exchange of fire between police and outlawed CPN cadres

BHOJPUR, July 10: Two persons were killed in an exchange of fire that took place between Nepal Police and cadres of the Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) in Bhojpur district on Wednesday morning.

BHOJPUR, July 10: Two persons were killed in an exchange of fire that took place between Nepal Police and cadres of the Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) in Bhojpur district on Wednesday morning.


A police constable Sanjiv Rai and the CPN cadre Nir Kumar Rai were killed in the exchange of fire.

SP Ramesh Thapa confirmed that the the cadres of Biplab-led party opened fire on the police constable Sanjiv Rai who was on duty.


According to Chief District Officer Nur Hari Khatiwada, the police confiscated pistols along with bullets from the place where the incident took place.
