OKHALDHUNGA, March 5: Two people died in a road accident that took place in Okhaldhunga this morning. The accident involving a passenger jeep took place near Rahutar in Ward No. 3 of Chishankhugadhi Rural Municipality.
The deceased have been identified as Bhakta Bahadur Thapa,70, and Min Bahadur Shrestha,52, of the same locality, said Deputy Superintendent of Police of Okhaldhunga, Deepak KC. Eleven others were injured in the accident. Some of the injured were airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment, said chairperson of the rural municipality, Nishant Sharma. Of the injured, the condition of three is reported to be critical.
