KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Nepal Police on Friday arrested 50-year-old Yubraj Prasain of Anamnagar in Kathmandu and Bishwas Rai, 30, of Sunsari, currently living at Bauddha in Kathmandu, for their alleged involvement in the Hundi transactions.
Hundi, an illegal means of money transfer, is punishable in the country according to the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058. Acting on a tip off, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested the two.

Likewise, police seized Rs 3 million and 18,000 in cash, two laptops and five sets of mobile phones from Rai's apartment.
Police said that investigations have been initiated against Rai and Prasain on the offense.
Meanwhile, police arrested Rojin Neupane, 24, of Tarakeswar Municipality for collecting Rs 1.2 million from seven different persons luring them from jobs in Portugal.
