The votes were recounted again following protest by UML lawmakers duo Bichari Yadav and Raj Kumar Gupta claiming that the election staffers committed a vote rigging, demaning recount.

Surprisingly, in the recount, Amanat Miya, who lost elections by a vote in the previous vote count, happened to win the elections with 11 votes.

She got 466 votes to defeat her NC rival, raising serious questions over the impartiality of the vote count.

Booth representatives of UML and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal have accused the election staffers of announcing the winner by a vote by misusing 45 votes.
