UML emerges victorious in Kumyayak Rural Municipality

PANCHTHAR, July 1: CPN-UML candidate Jaya Chemjong has won the race for the chief of Kumyayak Rural Municipality in Panchthar with 3,226 votes, compared to 2,003 votes for his closest rival Nepali Congress candidate Bam Lawati.

PANCHTHAR, July 1: CPN-UML candidate Jaya Chemjong has won the race for the chief of Kumyayak Rural Municipality in Panchthar with 3,226 votes, compared to 2,003 votes for his closest rival Nepali Congress candidate Bam Lawati.

Likewise, UML candidate Sita Acharya has emerged victorious in the race for the deputy chief with 3285 votes defeating her closest rival Rastriya Prajatantra Party(RPP)  candidate Jit Bahadur Aguwa who garnered 1138 votes.
