KATHMANDU, March 23: General Secretary of the CPN-UML, Shankar Pokharel has said that since the UML has emerged as a strong opposition, he went to villages to strengthen the party organization.
In a press conference organized by Press Chautari Nepal Dang branch today in Ghorahi, Pokharel emphasized that the vested interests of the party should not be combined for political stability and development and said that UML will be a strong opposition in the parliament for the next five years and will alert people's concerns.

He emphasized that the issue of nation building should be the first priority among the parties involved in the government. He urged the ruling party to run the government for five years for stability and development in the country.
He said that the government should focus on creating a strong nation by solving the deepening economic crisis as instability does not benefit anyone.
