KATHMANDU, Oct 13: The CPN-UML is organizing a tea reception at Shankha Park in the capital on October 15, on the occasion of the Bada Dashain, Nepal Sambat, Chhath and other festivals.
All preparations for the reception have been completed; the party informed the media after a meeting held today in connection with the management and security aspects of the event.

The tea party will take place from 12 pm to 3 pm on Saturday.
The party leaders including Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai and party office secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha on Thursday held a meeting with the security bodies and related sides in this connection. They also observed the venue of the tea reception.
Shrestha said a tableau showing the national costumes would be presented at the main gate to the reception venue on that day while party chairman KP Sharma Oli and other leaders will welcome the guests on the occasion.
The CPN-UML has been giving continuity to this custom of hosting the tea reception on the occasion of the different festivals started by the then chairman of the party Manmohan Adhikari when he was the leader of the main opposition party in parliament. RSS
