KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Main opposition CPN-UML has decided not to allow the constitution amendment bill to be endorsed from the parliament.
A parliamentary party meeting held at the Parliament building at New Baneshwor today has decided to oppose the amendment bill if the government pushes the bill for discussion in the House.

"UML will not allow the constitution amendment bill to be endorsed from the parliament at any cost," the party lawmaker Rewati Raman Bhandari told media about the decision.
"The party leadership has instructed UML lawmakers to be in the parliament meeting without any impulse," he added.
The parliamentary party meeting of UML has decided to support the government for conducting local poll in the slated date.
A meeting of 9 opposition parties is underway at Parliament building to set their strategy in the House meeting if the government pushed the amendment bill without their consent.
