Unification reaching final stage: CPN Chair Dahal

KATHMANDU, April 21: Nepal Communist Party chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday said party unification process was reaching the final stage.

KATHMANDU, April 21: Nepal Communist Party chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday said party unification process was reaching the final stage.


“A Secretariat meeting scheduled for Sunday evening will conclude all remaining tasks of the unification,” he said speaking at a program organized here on the occasion of the 70th establishment day of the NCP by the party State 3 organization committee. Internal talks were on to this effect, he added.

Likewise, stating that the unification took place as per a national need and wishes of communist leaders, cadres and well-wishers, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwar Pokharel urged the need for all party leaders and cadres to contribute their efforts to make the party strong from the grassroots.


Chairperson of the party State-3 organization committee Ashta Laxmi Shakya viewed that the practice of nepotism within the party should come to an end. On the occasion, people from various walks of life contributing to the communist movements were honored. RSS
