Party unification process to be completed by end of this month: NCP Chair Dahal (with video)

KATHMANDU, July 25: Chairperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he had made all the preparations for the people’s war at the residence of veteran communist leader Nar Bahadur Karmacharya.

KATHMANDU, July 25: Chairperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he had made all the preparations for the people’s war at the residence of veteran communist leader Nar Bahadur Karmacharya.


Speaking at a program organized to commemorate the sixth memorial day of the founder member of the first communist party in Nepal Nar Bahadur Karmacharya, the NCP chairperson Dahal said, “I had made all the preparations for the people’s war while I was staying at his home. He was well aware of the war”.

He said that the late communist leader Karmacharya had dedicated his whole life to the ideals, ideology, and objectives of the communist party. He also added that Karmacharya was always in favor of the unification of communist parties.


On the occasion, Dahal said that the party is seeking to develop a new model of socialism in the country. He also claimed that the remaining works of the party unification would be completed by the end of this month.


He reiterated that his party will launch a nation-wide campaign from the second week of August in a bid to seek ways of making the government effective and addressing peoples’ problems.
