KATHMANDU, April 7: The United Socialist Front, which was formed after its split from CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) has decided to merge with the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN (Unified Socialist).
At a program organized at the central office of CPN (Unified Socialist) on Thursday, the party’s General Secretary Bedu Ram Bhusal welcomed the United Socialist Front Chairman Sewantaraj Bhandari and other members into the party.

On the occasion, United Socialist Front Chairman Bhandari said that his party had decided to merge with the CPN (Unified Socialist) as the two parties share the same agendas and ideologies.
He said that they would contribute to the goal of unified socialists moving towards a socialist revolution in a peaceful manner. He also said that more than 200 leaders and activists under the age of 35 across the country have joined the CPN (Unified Socialist) through his front.
