KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The third edition of US Embassy’s Book Bus: Innovation in Education Fair (IEF) is scheduled for Thursday, and Friday and again on August 22 to 25, at the Local Development Training Academy. The fair is being organized by Satori Center for the Arts and Quixote’s Cove in partnership with Srijanalaya, Karkhana, Wildlife Conservation Nepal, and Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), The Asia Foundation and Let’s Read! Digital Library.
Over 60 school leaders, school administrators and representatives from three municipalities of Kathmandu Valley will be attending the fair to discuss STEAM education and instructional leadership on Thursday and Friday, states the press statement.
US Embassy to organize Innovation in Education fair
On August 22-24, the event will gear toward working with over 200 teachers from 40 schools in Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, and Kavre. The organizers will be offering nine workshops on inquiry-based learning, language arts education, project-based learning, visual and performing arts education, STEAM education and teachers’ professional development.
The last day of the fair on August 25 is stated to be open to the public.
