Prohibitory orders extended in Kathmandu Valley, vehicular move...
Earlier, the three CDOs in the Valley had decided to restrict both public and private vehicles except those related to emergency services from plying the streets. The restriction has been relaxed amid criticisms from various quarters.
Similarly, all three District Administration Offices (DAOs) in the Valley have decided to allow seminars or meetings with physical presence of a maximum 25 participants. However, all participants need to follow health safety protocols as prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Population.
All three DAOs in the Valley have given continuity to the same prohibitory orders enforced earlier. Officials said the prohibitory measures could be tightened any day keeping in view the rate of COVID-19 infection in the Valley.
