KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that the victory of the party's senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel in the presidency is assured.
Talking to media persons after the meeting of the party’s Central Work Performance Committee on Saturday, Sitaula said that the party has unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Paudel as the new president.

He said, "Ramchandra Poudel has been unanimously chosen as the presidential candidate. My name had also been called and that is natural. The president made the proposal and we passed it unanimously. Now, there is support from everyone in the coalition. His victory is certain. Victory is certain with the majority of votes.”
NC leader Sitaula claimed that Poudel will win the presidency with an overwhelming majority of votes.
