Voluntary retirement to employees interrupted

BIRATNAGAR, April 18: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lalbabu Pandit has said those government employees seeking voluntary retirement instead joining the adjustment process will be deputed to offices easily accessible from their home. 


Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, he said the plan of voluntary retirement has been suspended for the time being as their deputation to three levels is the prime need of the hour.

He called on all employees to go to their assigned workstations and serve the people. Campaign for nation's economic prosperity would be successful only with the support of competent and experienced employees. 


People at the local level are facing problems due to lack of a sufficient number of employees there and the government is not in mood to give voluntary retirement to experienced human resources.


Among employees who had applied for voluntary retirement, 1,250 have been already pensioned off, according to the Minister. RSS
