MUGU, April 14: A ward chairman in Jumla district died after he collapsed during the inaugural programme of Rara-Karnali Tourism Year-2075 on Saturday.
Kali Bahadur Gharti, the chairman of Ward-7 of Kanakasundari Rural Municipality in Mugu, died after he collapsed when the inaugural session was ongoing.

Gharti, 60, had arrived in Rara Lake from the two-day trek.
Gharti collapsed while Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was delivering his speech. It is said that Gharti breathed his last on the way to a health camp nearby.
