BUTWAL, Nov 8: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said that no one should deprive the voters of their right to vote in the November 20 elections.
Addressing a program held at Bhalwari in Rupandehi on Tuesday, he said that the government will be forced to take strict action against people who try to deprive the voters of their right to vote.
"If no one participates in the election peacefully, the democratic government will take it easy. However, the government will not remain silent if someone seeks to deprive the people of the right to vote by using force," said Home Minister Khand.

Two days ago, talks were held between the government and Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN in Bhairahawa regarding the November 20 election. CPN Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma participated in the talks.
Saying that the talks have progressed positively, Home Minister Khand also urged the leadership of the CPN to take the views of the government seriously. Home Minister Khan thanked the leaders and interlocutors who came to Bhairahawa for the talks and asked the CPN to be serious and take decisions sensitively while keeping the government's views clear in the party's central committee meeting.
