According to him, there is no possibility of heavy showers as the Westerly wind is weak. The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and mostly fair in the rest of the country at present.
Light fog occurred in some places of the Terai region in the morning today. The weather will be partly to generally cloudy with chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly region toward the afternoon today.
Similarly, there are chances of light snowfall at some places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country toward the afternoon today.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division stated in its weather update that the minimum temperature was 12 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 24.7 degrees Celsius in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours. Similarly, Jumla recorded the lowest temperature of 0.9 degrees Celsius throughout the country in the last 24 hours.
