Weather to be clear in most parts of Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 20:  The weather will be clear in most parts of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently a partial influence of western winds in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Oct 20:  The weather will be clear in most parts of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently a partial influence of western winds in Nepal.


The MFD has said that the weather is generally clear across the country with partly cloudy weather in the hilly areas.

The weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.


It is said that the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partly cloudy to cloudy skies over the hilly areas of the country tonight.


The  officials of the MFD have requested everyone to avoid the possible risk due to the possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
