Why was the train from Janakpur to Ayodhya canceled?

JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 21: The special train service from Janakpur to Ayodhya has been canceled. On the occasion of the idol consecration at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya tomorrow, preparations had been made for a special train to leave Janakpur for Ayodhya. However, the Indian government has canceled the train service from Janakpur.

JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 21: The special train service from Janakpur to Ayodhya has been canceled. On the occasion of the idol consecration at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya tomorrow, preparations had been made for a special train to leave Janakpur for Ayodhya. However, the Indian government has canceled the train service from Janakpur.


It is said that the train from Janakpur was not allowed due to the seven-layer security cordons in Ayodhya.

The train was canceled due to the lack of agreement with the Indian government's proposal to stop the train 15 km away from the regular station and bring pilgrims to Ayodhya by bus for security reasons.


The Government of India has arranged special security arrangements for the idol consecration at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Government of India has made security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident.
