BIRENDRANAGAR, April 27: A woman was killed when a Nepal Army truck hit her in Surkhet on Monday evening. The deceased has been identified as Manikala Sapkota, 50, of Birendranagar Municipality-12.

Manikala was hit by the truck while it was overtaking a vehicle. She died at the Provincial Hospital in Kalagaun, police said. Angry locals have vandalized the Nepal Army truck. The police fired a tear gas shell to bring the situation under control.
