BAITADI, Sept 29: A woman died after falling from a moving jeep in Darchula district today.
She is 41-year-old Kalawati Thagunna, a resident of Naugadh Rural Municipality-5 in the district, according to police.
Thagunna fell down from the jeep some 100 metres down into the Naughadh Khola river when the jeep's door suddenly opened. She died on the spot. The jeep (Se 1 Ja 597) was heading towards Shaukebagar from Dethala and the incident took place at 1 pm.
Police has impounded the jeep driver for investigation.(RSS)
