KATHMANDU, June 1: The 23rd World Milk Day is being observed today across the country by organizing various programs.
Under the coordination of the National Dairy Development Board, various programs will be jointly organized on the occasion by various organizations including the Department of Livestock Services, the Dairy Development Corporation, the Central Dairy Cooperative Association Limited Nepal, the Nepal Dairy Association, the Dairy Industry Association and the Central Livestock Fishery Cooperative Association.
World Stroke Day 2023 being observed today
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations established the World Milk Day in 2001 with the aim of promoting the consumption and benefits of milk around the world. The Day is observed every year on June 1. The theme of the World Milk Day, 2023 is 'Enjoy Dairy'.
