Writ petition filed at Supreme Court challenging re-election in Bharatpur

KATHMANDU, June 4: Gunjaman BK , CPN-UML candidate for the position of  the Ward member from  Ward 19 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, and lawyer Tulsi Ram on Sunday have filed a writ petition at Supreme Court  demanding for the scrapping of decision made by Election Commission on Saturday to conduct re-election in Ward 19 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

They have accused the EC of making the decision in favor of the CPN(Maoist Center) myoral candidate and daughter of outgoing Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
