LAHAN, Dec 10: A girl was killed while her elder sister was injured when the bicycle they were riding was hit by a tractor in Lahan of Siraha today.
Shyama Kumari Chaudhary, 15, of Haripur-1, Saptari died while her 16-year-old sister Babita Kumari was seriously injured. Shyama died on the way to hospital, police said.
The incident took place when the tractor (Sa.1 Ta. 1802) heading towards the east from the west hit the cycle at Padariya in Lahan municipality-11.
Babita is undergoing treatment at the Ram Prasad Uma Memorial Hospital in Lahan, Area Police Office, Lahan said. RSS
