Youth involved in gang fight goes missing

DHANKUTA, Dec 28: A youth has gone missing after being involved in a gang fight in Khalsa Chhintang Sahidbhumi rural municipality.

DHANKUTA, Dec 28: A youth has gone missing after being involved in a gang fight in Khalsa Chhintang Sahidbhumi rural municipality.


According to police, 38-year-old Pradip Rai went missing after being involved in a gang fight at Panitar in the rural municipality.

Two groups were involved in a gang fight over a minor dispute - one led by Pradip Rai and the other group led by another person in the district on Wednesday night.


Even though we found mobile and shoes in the bush, the whereabouts of Rai is still unknown, said Thalthale Police Post.


The other three people associated with Rai-led gang are in contact while Kabiraj Rai and Sajan Rai of the other group are still at large.


Police have launched a manhunt to nab those involved in the gang fight and are investigating the case.
