KATHMANDU, April 28: The government has confirmed 103 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 103 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the MoHP, 1,925 swab samples were tested during this period for the day. Among them, 50 people out of 627 tested positive for the virus through PCR test while 53 people were found to be infected with Covid-19 out of 1298 people through antigen tests. As a result, there were a total of 103 people who tested positive for the virus.
21 new cases of Covid-19 reported in past 24 hours
Similarly, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 375, while 26 people are in isolation, eight in ICU and one person is receiving ventilator support.
With the increase in infections, MoHP has asked everyone to administer booster doses against Covid-19.
