21 new cases of Covid-19 reported in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, May 15: The government has confirmed 21 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 21 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.

KATHMANDU, May 15: The government has confirmed 21 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 21 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.


According to the MoHP, 1,091 swab samples were tested during this period. Among them, 14 people out of 252 tested positive for the virus through PCR test while 7 people were found to be infected with Covid-19 out of 839 people through antigen tests. As a result, there were a total of 21 people who tested positive for the virus.

Similarly, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 112, while nine people are in isolation, one in ICU and one person is receiving ventilator support.


MoHP has asked everyone to administer booster doses against Covid-19.
