KATHMANDU, April 25: The government has confirmed 136 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 136 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the MoHP, 1,591 swab samples were tested during this period for the day. Among them, 92 people out of 1019 tested positive for the virus through PCR test while 44 people were found to be infected with Covid-19 out of 572 people through antigen tests. As a result, there were a total of 136 people who tested positive for the virus.
21 new cases of Covid-19 reported in past 24 hours
Similarly, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 390, while 27 people are in isolation, four in ICU and one person is receiving ventilator support.
With the increase in infections, MoHP has asked everyone to administer booster doses against Covid-19.
