BAJURA, August 7: A 13 – year old boy was killed today from a hornet's sting in a forest here at Nadang of Budhiganga municipality – 2, Bajura.
The hornet stung Roshan Nepali, son of Kar Nepali, of the same locality, according to local villager Dev Raj Padhyaya.
Roshan was stung while herding cattle in a nearby forest and died while being rushed to a health institute for treatment.
Two others were injured after getting stung by the hornet. The injured have been identified as 12 – year – old Sapana Kumari Thapa and Santula Devi Thapa, 68. They are being treated at the Bhramhatola Health Post.
The hornet is reported to have also stung the cows and oxen in the forest. The boy is a fourth grader at Shivashankar Primary School. RSS
