BIRGUNJ, NOV 18: Two people have been arrested from Birgunj with fake ballot papers and Swastika stamps. The one arrested are Rajan Singh, 33, from ward-13, Birgunj Metropolis, and Amiri Raut, 23, from Kalaiya, Sub-Metropolis ward-13.
They were arrested by a joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) when they were coming to Birgunj from Kalaiya in a vehicle (Bagmati Province 01-025 Ch 6636). A team led by Inspector Rabindra Bhatta of the Armed Police Force Border Outpost Birgunj and Police Inspector Bishal Malla of Ward Police Office Birgunj seized the fake ballot papers and cash while checking the car on Thursday night.

According to the District Police Office, Parsa, an investigation is being carried out regarding the constituency for which they went with fake ballot papers and money.
They have been handed over to the Chief Election Officer's office in Parsa for necessary action along with the seized fake ballot papers and cash.
