Two arrested for creating fake vehicle registrations

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: The police have arrested two people on the charge of creating fake vehicle registrations through document forgery. Among those arrested are Dil Bahadur Ghising Tamang, 42, originally from Temal Rural Municipality-8, Kavrepalanchok, currently residing in Bauddha, Kathmandu, and Aitasingh Tamang, 33, of 4 Manohara Municipality-4, Kageshwari.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: The police have arrested two people on the charge of creating fake vehicle registrations through document forgery. Among those arrested are Dil Bahadur Ghising Tamang, 42, originally from Temal Rural Municipality-8, Kavrepalanchok, currently residing in Bauddha, Kathmandu, and Aitasingh Tamang, 33, of 4 Manohara Municipality-4, Kageshwari.


Based on the information that some people had prepared documents such as vehicle registration book and other documents by forging documents, the police stationed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Min Bhawan arrested Dil Bahadur from Kathmandu Kalimati and Aitasingh from Manohara Municipality-1, Bramhakhel.

During the arrest, authorities recovered a blue book for Vehicle BA-01-025 Cha 2759, four car registration certificates with different numbers, stamps from various government offices, five cars, and two mobile phones.


They have been sent to the District Police Range, Teku, Kathmandu, for further investigation and necessary action for the offense related to forgery of documents.
