Director General at Urban Development and Building Construction Padam Kumar Mainali informed that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Home Minister Balkrishna Khand and Minister for Urban Development Ram Kumari Jhankri are addressing the virtual program. However, very few people are attending the program physically.

The Department has appealed to the people to join the program via Zoom App. One willing to attend the program can access the Zoom ID and pass code from the website of the Home Ministry. There is no space limit to participate in the program virtually.

The 2015 Gorkha earthquake is the latest reminder of the devastating incident that occurred in Nepal. It had taken the lives of nearly 9,000 people and damaged nearly a million personal houses.
