KAWASOTI, June 16: As many as 38 persons were injured in a truck-bus collision at Rajahar-6, Jharahikhola of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway last night.
According to the Area Police Office Nawalpur, a bus (Lu 1 Kha 4922) heading to east from west and a truck (Lu 1 Kha 8613) coming from opposition direction collided each other.

Five among the injured are critical and rest are in normal condition, police confirmed. Seven injured are being treated at Chitwan Medical College Bharatpur and other 31 are undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical Science College (Old), police informed.
The accident occurred due to high speed. Police have arrested truck driver Rajesh Chaudhary, 24, of Shivaraj Municipality, Kapivastu and impounded the truck for further action.
The condition of bus driver however is critical, police said. RSS
