62 people infected with dengue in Hetauda sub-metropolis

HETAUDA, Aug 7: Sixty-two people of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city have fallen sick due to dengue fever. The number of patients was recorded from July 17 to August 7.

HETAUDA, Aug 7: Sixty-two people of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city have fallen sick due to dengue fever. The number of patients was recorded from July 17 to August 7. The dengue patients have been receiving treatment at different hospitals in Hetauda.

Mayor of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city, Hari Bahadur Mahat, said that the number of patients visiting the hospital for dengue treatment has been found to be increasing in the sub-metropolis. He said that activities are underway to find out the possible habitat of mosquitoes and destroy them.


Similarly, Chief of Health Section of the sub-metropolitan city, Supendra Karki, said the sub-metropolis has been launching different awareness programs reaching out to settlements and schools, destroying the habitat of mosquitoes. The highest number of people found suffering from dengue is at ward no 4 of the sub-metropolis. Activities are underway in coordination with the state government to bring the disease under control.
