KATHMANDU, Dec 26: Balendra Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has commented that the leaders of three completely different views - ‘King should return, ‘We don’t need a King’ and ‘King should be killed’ - have joined hands to form the new government.

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: Balendra Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has commented that the leaders of three completely different views - ‘King should return, ‘We don’t need a King’ and ‘King should be killed’ - have joined hands to form the new government.


Writing a Facebook status on Sunday, Mayor Shah said that people who had different opinions regarding the institution of monarchy are in the newly-formed government while the common people are always in agony.

He has written, “All three people who said ‘the King should return’, ‘We don’t need King’ and ‘King should be killed’ are in the government at present. Meanwhile, the common people are the ones who are always suffering.”
