Army, APF triumph

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Departmental teams Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force (APF) registered wins on Thursday in the Second Pathibhara National Open Men's Volleyball Tournament being held in Taplejung.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Departmental teams Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force (APF) registered wins on Thursday in the Second Pathibhara National Open Men's Volleyball Tournament being held in Taplejung.



To maintain its winning run, Army registered straight sets win of 25-16, 25-23, 25-18 over Eastern Region.



In another match of the day, APF registered straight sets win over Central Region with the score of 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.



Following the outcome, Army and APF have accumulated equal six points from two matches apiece in the tournament played under round robin league.



APF has three points from two matches while host Eastern Region has two points from three matches.



Winless after three matches, Central Region has one point in its kitty.
