KATHMANDU, Sept 13: The Mohan Baidya-led CPN (Revolutionary Maoist), that had boycotted the second Constituent Assembly (CA) polls, has decided to compete in elections through Deshbhakta Janaganatantrik Morcha, hereafter.

The party formed the front led by leader CP Gajurel after holding a special convention in Kathmandu from September 11-12.

Speaking at the press meet organized on Tuesday, Gajurel said that it was more appropriate to compete in the elections through the front than individually.

“With the formation of the front, we will now expand our network in each and every village and launch a campaign against corruption,” said Gajurel.

Leader Pari Thapa is the secretary of the 71-member front.
